Iron Horse Rambles Excursions Will Continue on the Reading and Northern in 2024!

The ever-popular Iron Horse Rambles excursions will continue on the Reading & Northern Railroad in 2024, featuring recently restored 4-8-4 T-1 steam locomotive #2102. Tickets for these much-anticipated excursions will go on sale Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 9:00am online at www.rbmnrr-passenger.com and by phone at 610-562-2102. As always, several different seating options will be available. Specific information on seating options, pricing, boarding locations, and origins and destinations will be available soon.

These special passenger trains hearken back to the late 1950s and early 1960s when the Reading Company operated trips of the same name to various locations on its system. Several of these fondly remembered trips were pulled by the #2102 itself. The Reading & Northern is proud to continue that tradition over many of the same routes, some of which are familiar to riders and some that will be brand new!
